The 5th Annual Via Colori Street Painting Festival took place downtown Houston benefiting The Center for Hearing and Speech, a non-profit organization founded in 1947 that serves over 4,000 Houstonians annually. The weather was perfect, with over 200 artists sharing their talents and impressing the crowd with their expertise and creativity.

Everywhere we looked, terrific works of art were drawn on the street with chalk ranging from Kermit the Frog, a rhino, Nemo, and many more, all family-friendly and sponsored by generous donors. There were three stages featuring entertainers and food and wine available for purchase. If you missed the event this year, we highly recommend planning to attend next year.
