One of the things that we love about living in Houston is all the hidden gems. The Gingerbread Build-Off is meant to draw more attention to architectural firms in Houston. The Architecture Center Houston hosts this event. Hermann Square at City Hall was the perfect location to admire all the non-gingerbread buildings in Houston too. Cinderella’s castle was on display along with Willy Wonka’s factory, the Hobbit’s house and even the three little pigs had a prime location for all 3 of their houses. Of course, what neighborhood would be complete without a football stadium? UH’s College of Architecture did an amazing job duplicating Robertson Stadium, complete with a scoreboard. Three Brothers’ bakery sponsored building materials. Which team came out on top for the tastiest real estate in Houston?
