Platforms suck at finding small businesses
There are 33 million small businesses in the United States. Too many products have terrible searches. Whether it's because of oversaturation, complicated search engine algorithms, or poor organic reach, it's almost impossible for consumers to find small businesses and entrepreneurs nearby.

Empowering small businesses
I find more value in the Locals I Know platform than in more prominent networking platforms like Meetup and LinkedIn. Their focus on artists AND entrepreneurs strikes the right balance between business and entertainment. Unlike the other platforms, there aren’t just a bunch of entrepreneurs “networking” with other entrepreneurs or artists performing for other artists. Their platform feels organic and homegrown, and the diversity feels fresh. With these worlds are all mixed in together and inspired by the opportunity to connect, the community is far more likely to see their dollars recycled locally! – Spread Love Free Market
