Creator platforms are not ideal for finding locally relevant content. They're making money off users' backs while convincing them to remain loyal no matter what. People, not just platforms, deserve to reap the monetary benefits of having an active community. New platforms that balance profit and purpose by putting a premium on sharing power and resources are desperately needed. By combining an all-in-one platform and a creator community, consumers can find local content, and creators can make more money publishing original content exclusively on Locals I Know than on other platforms.
Locals I Know is a platform for discovering local businesses, deals, and entertainment. Vibrant local music scenes drive creative talent and economic growth; new business models are needed to benefit everyone. We proudly present the Locals I Know Live Music Showcase Project.
That Video Mag blew it out of the park with this one! I've gotten so many phone calls with people wanting turntables fixed it's hard to keep track. Huge shout out to That Video Mag for making things happen for the little guy.
Mannn you did a really nice job with this... congrats!! hope it booms fast!
I've already been hired for multiple video projects for That Video Mag, and what I can say is it has been one of the most seamless experiences I've encountered with any client. I will continue to work with That Video Mag. It's definitely been a good experience. I am looking forward to seeing this brand grow!
I find more value in the Locals I Know platform than in more prominent networking platforms like Meetup and LinkedIn. Their focus on artists AND entrepreneurs strikes the right balance between business and entertainment. Unlike the other platforms, there aren’t just a bunch of entrepreneurs “networking” with other entrepreneurs or artists performing for other artists. Their platform feels organic and homegrown, and the diversity feels fresh.
